BiSki - Steve and Giacomo in Hochfugen

Here are Steven and Giacomo skiing together in Hochfugen. Steven was pleased to learn how to "bucket assist" so that he could ski with his son Giacomo. Steve took a personal skills development lesson with Greg before Sara teaching him to assist his own son, they will be able to ski independently together as a family tomorrow without needing an instructor. This has been another great success for our adaptive programme.

Steven was pretty nervous to start with but he soon started to relax and get a feel for how the biski works. It was great to see his confidence build and I'm stoked that they'll be able to ski together tomorrow without me.

Sara thanks for giving us a wonderful time. I think you are the most constructive and encouraging ski instructor ever. Thanks to you I achieved something I would not have ever believed possible to take Giacomo skiing. I will never forget the look of incredulity on the faces of our chums when yiou sugggested I learn to use the adaptive ski with Jack! I was more incredulous than them to be honest and 'pretty nervous' would be understating how I felt the first time I had a go! But you were so encouraging and positive you enabled me to achieve what I thought was impossible for me! As a result I was able to ski with Jack and this made the holidat for us. Thank you so much - we owe you big time.

Love Steve, Giacomo and family xxxxx

PS I owe you a DV tape - made some good picture of Jack Bi-skiiing with it, I'll try to send when I've got a grip of the technology.
